years, Girls Inc has provided vital
educational programs to millions of
American girls, particularly those in
high-risk, underserved areas. |

On-site
Conferences: |
Organize
a list of speakers in your hometown who
are technologists, innovators, and
scientists. Have a once a
month/every other month on-site conference
for students so they can listen and
interact with role-models. |
Technology
Fairs: |
Once
a year at your school have video game
contests, computer and electronics
demonstrations, etc. Have a Gadget
room with electronic toys and display
children's inventions and game
designs. If your city has a Science
Center, ask them for ideas or even space. |
